Meet Duke, he was desperate for a home before they had to put him asleep. He has been through a lot. He had heartworms and stayed with Dr. Shane for three months. No one wanted to adopt him so then he went to the local animal shelter to sit out his remainder days. I went out there to donate some items left over from my kennel days. He took one look at me and he thought to himself, “There is a sucker for lost causes”. OH my heart melted, he was a German shepherd mix just like my first dog I got for my mom when I was 13. He is so skinny and has had a really hard time finding a home. So, Duke, enjoy this home with Duchess and the rest of the gang. Until I go off to Whitfield, you are finally at home.
